Daniel Schneider, member of the german federal parliament, works in the cultural sector and is an entrepreneur. He has been deputy cultural and media policy spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag since 2021 and is a full member of the Culture and Environment Committee, a full member of the Culture and Media Committee, the Environment and Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection Committee and the Tourism Committee; deputy member of the Digital Committee; deputy chairman of the Lower Saxony/Bremen regional groups. Previously, he was the founder and managing director of the Deichbrand Festival on the North Sea from 2005-2021.
