Policy Dialogues
Our Policy Dialogues are sessions in which contexts and issues at the interface of national and European cultural policy are negotiated and discussed. This year, we are focussing on the topics of democracy and the shift to the right, streaming, club culture and the role of music in local political decision-making processes. Therefore, we are happy to welcome another round of high quality speakers!

Katrin Budde has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 and has chaired the Committee on Culture and the Media since 2018.
Balbina represents the Academy for Popular Music and the associated forum ‘POLYTON’ as spokesperson and creative director.
Daniel Schneider is entrepreneur specializing in culture and marketing. Since 2021, he has been a Member of the Bundestag, representing Cuxhaven/Stade II.
Pamela Schobeß is a political spokeswoman on the executive board of the federal association for music venues LiveKomm.
Jean-Philippe Thiellay has been appointed president of the Centre national de la musique on January 1, 2020. He previously held the position of Deputy General Director of the Paris National Opera.
Ruth Koleva proudly serves as the president of ANMIP-BG (Association of Independent Music Publishers and Producers in Bulgaria) and board member of IMPALA, further elevating the voice of Bulgarian music on the international stage.
