Katharina Schwarz has already turned heads in the German-speaking singer–songwriter scene with her debut EP, “über dich” (2019). And that’s not only because her crystal-clear timbre and highly emotional lyrics immediately find the keyhole to the soul between the ears. Indeed, as an author, Schwarz has also written songs for big names such as Helene Fischer, Julia Engelmann, and Wilhelmine. The multi-talented artist hits the nerve of an entire generation time and again when she writes about finding and losing, about unconditional love and the conditions of letting go. Her second EP, “immer nur liebe” (2022), also places romance and realism at the centre of a songwriting style that endows poetic pop with the full force of human emotions. Millions of streams, sold-out concerts, and widely acclaimed tours in the media – such as the “nur liebe tour” at the beginning of the year – speak for themselves. Here comes an artist with talents on all levels that are far from exhausted. Now, for the first time, she will be performing on our stage as half of an acoustic duo.
