Loud, fast, fucked up and still full of fun: Really Good Time may have a name that is somehow inappropriate for these times, but they bring the positive vibes with their deeply grooving garage rock to anyone who is willing to listen. With songwriting somewhere between the euphoric energy of U2, the indie sophistication of the Pixies and the production daring of LCD Soundsystem, the quartet from Dublin is a sound antidote to the madness of these days. Of course, that's what the band name means. The latest singles ‘Pension Fund’ and ‘Scott Carson (2025)’ also demonstrate that this band is more than ready for a debut album with impact qualities. They will be bringing the relevant material to Hamburg in September. So if you want to check out one of the upcoming Irish bands of the moment before the hype train sets off, here's your chance.
