Between a sense of tradition and a deep understanding of relevant jazz standards on the one hand and a desire for the new and unexpected on the other, Hohnen Ford has earned a reputation as a genuine virtuoso. After graduating with honours from the Royal Academy Of Music, she has spent the last few years performing live at some of London's most prestigious venues - from The Vortex to the Royal Festival Hall. This is where she has honed her vocals, worked on arrangements, amassed her own song ideas and met new collaborators. These include composers Sam Hogarth and Bastian Weinig, as well as Sonny Johns and London producer Matt Maltese. The latter also worked with her for her debut EP "Infinity", which was released last year and sparked a buzz in the British capital's vibrant jazz scene.
