The Taiwan Beats Showcase, taking place at Sommersalon, is presented by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA). Aiming to promote Taiwanese music and bring it to the global stage, TAICCA seeks to create business opportunities for artists with international potential. To this end, TAICCA invites international industry professionals, buyers, and representatives to the showcase to experience Taiwan's most promising and vibrant artists. The debut Taiwanese showcase at the Reeperbahn Festival will feature the folksy electronica duo Our Shame, the indie rock band The Chairs—known for their romantic, acid, and retro style and winners of the prestigious Golden Melody Award (GMA) in Taiwan—and ?te(Whyte), a rising and mysterious star renowned for her perfect blend of Chill-Hop, R&B, and Jazz style.
