Tarah-Tanita Truderung
Tarah-Tanita Truderung developed a strong interest in social justice at an early age, which inspired her to study social work and social science. Today, she is a state-recognised educator, social worker and Master's student on the ‘Education and Management in Social Work’ programme. In her master's thesis, she is investigating resistance strategies against racism at German universities, after her bachelor's thesis was dedicated to identity politics of Afro-German women since the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement in 2020.
Tarah-Tanita combines her practical and personal experiences with her academic knowledge as a Black social scientist, activist and socialist. Her focus is on empowerment, intersectional feminism, anti-racism, social justice and transformation. These elements form the foundation of her expertise and radical work.
