Peter Flore, born in 1979, has been working in the field of tension between music, sport and digital storytelling for 20 years. Since June 2024, he has been editor-in-chief of the time-honoured Rockpalast on WDR.
In the years before that, the Cologne native's work was dominated by sport and its emotions: as the social media manager of Sportschau, he covered the major events of the World Cup in Qatar and the Olympic Games in Beijing, which polarised fans and society. From 2013 to 2019, he was the social media editor at Borussia Dortmund, where he was responsible for the black and yellow team's digital channels, setting standards with humour and attitude during this time - and not just in the Bundesliga. He was also able to demonstrate his passion and expertise in his previous positions as an editor at the opinion-forming music and pop culture magazine Intro and at the radio station 1LIVE.
