Michael Duderstädt has been GEMA's Director of Political Communication since July 2013. In his role, he is responsible for the political liaison offices in Berlin and Brussels.
He began his professional career after graduating from university (journalism, theater, law) in 2001 as a consultant for media policy at the CDU federal office and from 2004 at the communications agency Pleon, where he advised companies in the areas of corporate communications, crisis communications and public affairs.
From 2007 to 2013, he was Head of Communications & Media Policy at RTL Radio Deutschland GmbH and also a member of the advisory board of Radiozentrale, a board member of the industry association VPRT (now VAUNET) and Managing Director of the online station “the wave - relaxing radio”.
