Marian Gold
Singer Marian Gold founded the band Alphaville in Münster together with Bernhard Lloyd and Frank Mertens. In 40 years of band history, the band has released eight studio albums, constantly developed their sound and songs and is one of the most successful German groups of all time. In 1984, their first single "Big In Japan" was released, which, together with the following songs "Sounds Like A Melody", "Forever Young" and the debut album of the same name, made the band global stars. With their catchy synth pop sound and profound lyrics, Alphaville hit the nerve of the times - and this was also true for the subsequent albums. 40 years later, Marian Gold and Alphaville are celebrating their band anniversary in style on stage with the extensive Germany tour "FOREVER! Best Of 40 Years LIVE!", which follows a sold-out symphony tour, and the release of the extensive retrospective "FOREVER!".
