Lena Schmidt is a sociologist and media scholar. In her podcast “Das Ding ist ...” [“The Thing Is,...”], she and Anna Bartling take a look at what Roland Barthes calls “Mythologies”. In doing so, she helps shape the view of group dynamics and cultural phenomena - always angry, always funny, always to the point. The podcast is produced by the Studio Rot collective, which Lena Schmidt co-founded.
