Lena Kampf

Lena Kampf is deputy head of the Investigative Research department at the German daily newspaper, the Süddeutsche Zeitung. Before that, she was an investigative reporter at the German public broadcaster WDR in Berlin and Brussels and part of the joint research cooperative between broadcasters NDR and WDR and the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In summer 2016, she spent two months as an Arthur F. Burns Fellow at the Miami Herald newspaper in Florida. In 2019, she won the Franco-German Journalism Award with her report on the #MeToo movement in the European Parliament. Her work focuses on right-wing extremism and terrorism, police and justice, as well as cases of sexualized violence and international research.
