With her social-artistic approach, Joana always integrates issues of social coexistence into her work, opening up participation and space for discourse in an artistic way. Joana is responsible for the development of participation concepts in the interdisciplinary federal funding project “Ligeti Center”. As part of echo.urban GbR, she is project manager, workshop leader and actor of record-o-mat and, among other things, mainly responsible for programming the live-generative music tool, which she performs as part of the music performance duo Fragment. In her latest project “Visuell” she is part of the development team and responsible for the prototyping of a video sampler.
