Jan Kubran
As Director Sync & Rights Management at Sony Music, Jan and his team provide the brand and creative world with access to the world's second largest music catalog for the soundtracks of commercials, films, series and games through their combined music marketing expertise and innovative sourcing tools.He began his career in 2008 at Sony BMG in Munich, where he expanded the music licensing business in the DACH region and realized high-reach cultural marketing campaigns with Sony Music's artist, music and data portfolio. These included local to global collaborations such as with Telekom and Tom Odell's “Another Love”, SONY Bravia with Kygo's “Firestone”, Vodafone with “Human” by Rag'n'Bone Man or brand partnership collaborations between smart and Alan Walker, o2 and RIN & Schmyt, SONY Electronics and Apache 207 and many more.
Jan holds a degree in “Applied Media Science” from the Technical University of Ilmenau and an Executive MBA from the Bologna Business School.
