Inéz
"Everyone paints it black, I see the future pink. If you ask me, things will be fine, my child" - behind the distinctive power voice that features Peter Fox's No. 1 single is the singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Inéz.The half-Swiss, with Jewish, Italian and Dutch roots, started playing the piano at the age of five and immersed herself in the diversity of the music world at an early age. She was inspired early on by blues and krautrock, African, Irish, Arabic, Latin American and Indian music, as well as by punk, hip hop, reggae and drum'n'bass. Then she discovered her love for minimal music. She completed her musical training at the University of Music in Dresden and at the Pop Academy in Mannheim. With her band ÄTNA (together with Demian Kappenstein) she has already released several albums and tours internationally. Their musical contributions to the Netflix production Biohackers and A Thin Line by Paramount+ as well as the soundtrack to the Armani Beauty campaign of 2022 caused a stir not only within the industry. And so they were the first German artists to win the coveted "Anchor Award" at the Reeperbahn Festival. Most recently, Inéz expanded her artistic spectrum by collaborating with the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. There she accompanies the play "Noch Wach?" by Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre.Soon you be able to hear her tireless passion and creativity in her podcast for the ARD audio library "Marmor, Stein und Inéz spricht".
