Erhard Grundl has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 and is the spokesperson for cultural and media policy for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group. He is a member of the Committee on Culture and Media, the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Subcommittee on Foreign Cultural and Educational Policy.Before being elected to the Bundestag in 2017, he was a distribution manager in the independent music industry. He has been active in the Green Party since 2004.He is a member of the advisory board of the Goethe Institute, the board of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft, the Parliamentary Forum for Club Culture and Nightlife, Box-Club Straubing e.V., the Sozialverband VdK and the service sector union ver.di, among others.
