Cora is a DJ and festival enthusiast with deep roots in the German music and festival scene. Originally from Braunschweig, she now lives in Berlin and completed her Master’s degree in Media and Music in 2019 in Hanover. Even during her studies, she became deeply involved in the festival context and gained valuable experience through years of voluntary work at various music festivals.
These hands-on experiences also influenced her academic work: She wrote her Master thesis on "The Advantages and Disadvantages of Voluntary Work at Music Festivals - A Qualitative Study of Voluntary Work at Popular Music Festivals and Their Development, Using the Example of Three Volunteer-Run Festivals," which provides deeper insights into the significance and impact of voluntary work in the festival industry. This topic remains close to her heart and is a driving force in her professional career.
As part of the Neustart Kultur program, Cora worked in funding at LiveKomm, where she contributed to supporting and strengthening the music and cultural sectors during a challenging time. This experience has further sharpened her perspective on the structure and needs of the industry.
