Carsten Helmich is the founder and festival director of the Juicy Beats Festival since 1996 and CEO of Popmodern-Veranstaltungs-GmbH. He has also been a DJ since 1991. The Juicy Beats Festival is one of the biggest pop music festivals in NRW and is known throughout Germany for its very young, fresh program. Every year in July, around 40,000-50,000 guests come to Dortmund's Westfalenpark, one of the largest garden parks in Europe and certainly one of the most beautiful event areas, including the 220m high television tower. And of course the latest hot acts from Germany are always there.
