Anna Oberle has been responsible for events, marketing and sponsorship at GEMA since 2022. Among other things, she plans the German Music Authors' Award, showcases at industry events and the GEMA program at the Reeperbahn Festival. Promoting diversity and gender sensitivity in the music industry is one of GEMA's goals. Anna Oberle implements this through special formats such as the Female, Trans & Non-Binary #GEMAStage, the deliberate selection of female members for Speaker Opertunites, showcases and songwriting camps as well as the former cat breakfast at the Reeperbahn Festival. GEMA is part of the Keychange initiative and supported the promotion and communication of the current Keychange survey this year.
