Anna Blaich
Anna Blaich, M.A., studied Music Business at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg (Mannheim) and Cultural and Media Management at the University of Music and Theater, Institute KMM (Hamburg). After holding various positions in the music industry, she was Project Manager Export at Initiative Musik, where she was responsible for the German joint appearance Germany @ SXSW 2018 (German Haus & German Pavilion) in Austin, Texas, as well as for the German participation in the field of music export within the EU program "Music Moves Europe". From 2018 to 2022, she worked as a project manager in cultural urban development at NEXT Mannheim, where she developed projects in the field of cross innovation and was project manager for the utilization concept of the Multihalle Mannheim. Since May 2022, she has been working in the Department of Labor and Social Affairs of the City of Mannheim, where she is responsible for the office of the management of the Mannheim JobCenter. She is also the second chairwoman of Bundesstiftung LiveKultur and a member of the LiveKomm working group for the protection of cultural spaces (Kulturraumschutz), as well as a member of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft and a lecturer at the DHBW Mannheim and Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. In her doctorate at the University of Paderborn, she is working on pop music in the field of tension between culture, business and politics.
