Johannes Everke has been managing director of the BDKV (Bundesverband der Konzert- und Veranstaltungswirtschaft e.V.) since January 2023. The lawyer and cultural manager with a professional background of opera, concert, cultural administration and business development previously worked in Hamburg's city marketing. His main focus there was on international marketing cooperations, digital marketing and the topic of City of Music. The 51-year-old family man is originally from southern Germany and has lived in Hamburg for 20 years. One or the other knows him from the environment of the Hamburg industry, where he is intensively involved, or from nationwide initiatives such as the German appearance at SXSW /Austin.
