Since 2019, Johannes Everding has served as the Director of Business Development at GEMA (Society for Musical Performing and Mechanical Reproduction Rights), focusing on general licensing. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing tariffs, managing collective contractual partnerships, handling collection mandates, and spearheading business development cooperations and projects.
Prior to his tenure at GEMA, Mr. Everding accumulated over 20 years of experience in the television and music industries. His distinguished career includes key executive positions at renowned media companies such as Discovery Networks, joint ventures with SPIEGEL-TV and ORF, and Deutsche Grammophon.
His current responsibilities include the management of the Music Impact Study.
