Rembert Stiewe
Rembert Stiewe, co-founder of Glitterhouse Records in 1982, has been organizing the boutique festival Orange Blossom Special (OBS) in the East Westphalian province since 1997. The OBS was ennobled by German Rolling Stone magazine as the "best small festival in the world" and has positioned itself socially for years through close cooperation with NGOs and efforts to promote ecological and social sustainability. OBS was the first German festival to introduce a social ticket without proof of need.In 2022, OBS won the Westphalia-Weser Culture Prize as well as the nationwide festival award "HELGA!" in the category "Most Comfortable - Best Working Conditions and Atmosphere". In 2021, Rembert Stiewe, together with Markus Blanke, Franziska Pollin and the Forum Veranstaltungswirtschaft, was honored with the "HELGA!" award as "Most Festival Personality". He also works as a freelance journalist, including presenting the WDR TV series "Rockpalast: Crossroads".
