Born in Bielefeld to Korean parents, Sion has always walked between worlds. He launched his career two years ago with his singles “Braindead” (2022) and “Flying Fish” (2023) and was quickly signed to the South Korean tastemakers Beautiful Noise. With a sound that lies somewhere between soulful pop and laid-back spoken word, between thoughtfulness and summery vibes, Sion has found his style and has continued to hone it over the past few months. After successfully expanding his fanbase with the EPs “Love” (2022) and “Live” (2023), he is now ready for his next coup. On this year’s new EP, “Sociavoidance”, he significantly expands the elements of his sound while simultaneously integrating new influences.
