Sawyer Hill realised early on how things work in social media. Without a major label behind him, the singer–songwriter took matters into his own hands by pushing his singles on TikTok and Instagram, where they were able to reach a wide audience. He started out very differently: namely as a 15-year-old lad in a band full of millennials touring around different bars in Arkansas. As a result, Hill is familiar with the classic, arduous routine of playing night after night and growing closer with his bandmates. But he is also familiar with overnight success via digital downloads. With singles such as “Look At The Time” and the romantically groovy “Feel Right Now”, Hill has something for everyone and proves that he is an artist with tremendous verve and self-confidence. His German premiere in September is therefore sure to be memorable.
