HYPNOSIS THERAPY
At first, they just wanted to make a few beats and met up every day to do so. But then, everything escalated quickly: For Jiangyou and Jflow, making music began to become a passion that they were able to immediately share with their audience both on their studio albums and live on stage. The sound of Hypnosis Therapy releases energy, connects people, and doesn’t give a damn about industry expectations. “Of course we’re out of left field,” the duo emphasise time and again in interviews. “But we want to reach people who are looking for something new.” The two succeeded in 2022 with the experimental breakbeat/rap massacre “Hypnosis Therapy” – an album that made waves in the USA as well as further afield in Europe. The follow-up, “Psilocybin” (2023), builds on this success and goes even further by also featuring elements glitch, groovy rock, deep house, and other influences. It’s a furious mix that will blow you away, especially live.
