It’s been a career straight out of a Jim Jarmusch film script: Logan Richard was playing murkily lit blues bars before daring to take his guitar and voice onto bigger stages, where he really found himself. It's been an existentialist trip in many ways, one which the musician from Prince Edward Island in the far east of Canada has etched into the musical history books of his homeland since 2017. Now an acclaimed songwriter and producer in Canada, he’s also a regular go-to live guitarist and session musician. Since his debut album "Logan Richard" (2021), he's consistently impressed as a reflective and subtle blues and R’n’B artist as well as being able to pull off energetic pop anthems. This year sees his second album released under the direction of established songwriter and producer David Myles, with whom Logan Richard will again be exploring new musical territory.
