Yunus was, as he says himself, never the coolest guy in the schoolyard. Somewhere between a lethargic shrug, disarming repartee and a good dose of wit, Yunus likes to rub a pinch of salt into the inconsistencies of our society with his misfit rap. Somehow weird and so normal at the same time. This tension between the poles runs like a red thread through Yunus' life. Born in Istanbul, he grew up in the outskirts of Berlin, then made the tough move to Munich. Battle rap, viola studies in Hanover, first tracks as Yunus. Off to Berlin.
