SUNHILL
From a small wooden hut on the outskirts of their hometown in Sweden and out into the world: Sunhill have taken a leap that not many dare to take and that only a few succeed in doing. The quartet celebrate a well-tempered mix of garage rock, punk, and pop with infectious melodies that made their first songs – “Beam Me Up” and “Pesticide” – catchy earworms. During the pandemic, Sunhill also did a few online gigs and even brought their music over to Mexico. And it didn’t take long for the band’s positive summery sound to make waves and fall into the hands of resourceful indie diggers. With the release of their second EP, “Spot In The Shade” (2021), however, it became clear to a wider fan community that Sunhill can be relied upon when it comes to an official soundtrack for happy days at the lake. Now, they are finally coming to us in Hamburg with new material.
