Hardly any other band in the German-speaking world combines the catchiness of early alternative bands with anthemic hooks and lyrics full of honesty like Letters Sent Home. Although the quartet from Lower Saxony have only been making music for a few years, they have already managed to gather a loyal fanbase around them and celebrate this very special sound, which boomed in the USA and Europe in the early 2000s. The band’s debut album is a first and impressive statement for rousing rock with infectious melodies and great sing-alongs. It’s almost as if the album had been made for the most turbulent times in life. The fact that their deal with Sharptone Records was bagged straight away should come as no surprise to anyone who has experienced this band live on stage. Memorable on record, but a truly unique experience live.
