Anyone who listens to EPs such as “Feminist Fantasy Fiction” (2022) or this year’s manifesto for guilty pleasures and female empowerment – “Ego Death” (2024) – immediately recognises that FLOSS knows how to realise this musical vision. She combines an unusual sound with political commitment, eclectic arrangements, and pastel-coloured soundbites. Looking for a comparable artist with such skills in the local music scene?
