Busiswa Gqulu stands out from the crowd with her enthusiasm for poetry and dance and has been able to establish herself as one of the leading figures in the fields of amapiano and gqom since the early 2010s – and not only in South Africa, but on the entire African continent. The confident artist’s fast and lasciviously produced beats collide with shimmering vocals and a relentless party atmosphere.
