Don’t be fooled: Despite his name, bbetriebswirt (German for “eeconomist”) is not about numbers or calculations. Since the beginning of his career on the dancefloor, the Berlin DJ has focussed on the trancy side of techno. And he has honed his skills in no other place than aeden in Berlin, appearing at festivals such as Sensus, Feel, and Mahagoni. Back in the capital, he is also part of mitmischen berlin – a DJ collective and booking agency. However, the business economist does calculate one thing: Depending on the vibe and venue, his focus is sometimes on shiny progressive house, sometimes on dazzling trance treasures, then again on old-school trance.
