As an experienced, enterprising founder, CEO, business developer and rethinker, Andreas has been and continues to be involved in the implementation of a wide variety of discussions, conferences and events.

He is co-founder and co-managing director of re:publica, the most relevant digital society conference in Europe. With his company Creator Broker Owner GmbH, which serves as a holding for his entrepreneurial work, he sets impulses in the main topics of open source & digital society.

Andreas is also involved in a wide range of ventures and projects. His portfolio ranges from tech conferences like Berlin Buzzwords to the Female Football Academy, an organisation for the promotion and development of women’s football.

Born in Cologne, he has been socially active since his youth: a brief excursion into the world of carnival as prince of the children’s triumvirate was followed until 2000 by a Green Party career with offices and mandates in local, federal and European politics. Today, his voluntary work is reflected, among other things, in his commitment as chairman of the board of trustees of the Stiftung Zukunft Berlin.
