Set in a dystopian surveillance state of the future, Consensus Gentium is the world's first emotionally responsive film that uses A.I. and facial detection technology to watch you back and navigate a branching narrative in real time depending on your gaze on a smartphone.

Consensus Gentium (Latin for "If everyone believes it, it must be true) is the world's first emotionally responsive film that uses A.I. and facial detection technology to navigate a branching narrative on a smartphoneSet in a dystopian surveillance state of the future, you must visit your sick Nana across the city. However, in order to do so, you are required to download the Global Citizen app. The app determines your status as a “good citizen” and grants you the ability to move more freely. While Global Citizen measures your levels of dissidence and compliance, you receive calls and messages from friends and rogue techno-activists who reveal the consequences of your choices. How will you navigate the line between compliance and dissidence in order to care for your loved ones? And at what cost?

A powerful exploration on the implications of tech, Consensus Gentium employs cutting-edge facial detection and AI, and invites audiences to think about the importance of agency in a world of unchecked surveillance.
