Saraiva is the Director of SCL - Lusitanian Music Group based in Lisbon. A board member of IMPALA and EMEE, Saraiva is also a member of IMPF working on the IMPF Creative Europe Network project as well as several other European projects such as Europe in Synch, European Ghosts, and BELEM - Boosting European Lyrics’ Entrepreneurial Monetisation. Nuno Saraiva began working in the music industry in Canada in 1992, making it 30 years working in all three sectors of the business: live, publishing, and recorded music. From '92 to '04 Saraiva was based in Toronto, Canada, relocating to London UK in 2004. Since returning to his hometown of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2008, Saraiva started the SCL company that is active in Music Publishing, Labels and Distribution as well as international music consulting and project management. Saraiva currently serves as the President of AMAEI, the Portuguese Independent Music Trade Association, he is the International Coordinator for WHY Portugal and is the Conference Director at Westway LAB.
