Marlene Thissen is a Berlin-based booker at Goodlive Artists.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, she started her journey as a promoter young, promoting band shows & club nights in Amsterdam starting in high school.
From then onwards she has been dedicated to working in all aspects of the live industry - as a curator, organizer & project manager. Such as in the content team for Amsterdam Dance Event, and as a project manager for shows at Amsterdam Fashion Week to name a few. This has provided her with an inside view into the many different positions in the music industry: everything from the DIY to the largest EU mainstream festivals and marquee arena tours.
Stylistically, Marlene focuses on a purposefully eclectic range of music: everything from (off) Pop, Electronic, Indie, and Neo-Soul, to Neo-classical artists, and more.
Recent shows and tours she has worked on include those of Nia Archives, Joep Beving, Saint Levant, Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul, Roisin Murphy & London Grammar.
