Julian Loewe
Julian Loewe studied business law in Vienna, Cologne, and Hamburg and was already working as an independent concert organiser in his hometown of Dortmund at the age of 16. After working at Visions Magazine and the FZW Dortmund, he moved to Hamburg as a booker at Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion. This was followed in 2014 by the conception and organisation of the newcomer festival Way Back When in Dortmund. Driven by the desire to play a greater role in change within the music industry, Julian Loewe moved to digital distributor finetunes in 2015 to work in A&R and acquire new labels. In 2018, together with Julian Butz and Jasper Niebuhr, he founded and managed NEUBAU Music – a management, publishing, and label construct that also includes the label Humming Records with artists such as ÄTNA, LIE NING, Sharktank, and Mar Malade. The business is an innovative response to the future demands of artists and the new requirements of the music market.
