Daniel Drepper

Daniel Drepper heads the research cooperative between the NDR and WDR broadcasters and the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. He previously co-founded the not-for-profit research centre Correctiv and was editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed News Germany, at which his team uncovered the MeToo scandal surrounding Julian Reichelt, among other stories. He chairs Netzwerk Recherche, the association of investigative journalists in Germany, and he studied investigative research at Columbia University in New York. His research has won numerous awards. Drepper was named Editor-in-Chief of the Year and Journalist of the Year.
