Dani Deahl
As a prominent figure in music, Dani Deahl has been at the forefront of artist discovery and meaningful industry change for over a decade. Currently, she serves as the Head of Communications & Creator Insights at BandLab, a social music creation platform headquartered in Singapore. She leads the company's strategic messaging and quantitative analysis of key industry trends. Prior to BandLab, Dani led The Verge’s coverage of consumer music tech, authoring influential features on topics like music creation trends, AI, emerging genres, and creator platforms. At The Verge, she also hosted video series, “The Future of Music," featuring acts like Charli XCX, Steve Aoki, and Eric Prydz. As a public figure in the music tech community, Dani has provided thought leadership at numerous global conferences, including TEDx, AMP Music Summit, Midem, Mondo NYC, SXSW, Music Tectonics, Billboard Live Music Summit, and more. Additionally, Dani is a DJ and dance music producer, with releases on labels like Dim Mak, Monstercat, and Armada. She currently serves as Governor of the Board for the Recording Academy’s Chicago Chapter.
