Benjamin Feyen is a Brussels-based expert on EU policies affecting the Cultural and Creative Sectors, with a particular focus on the music industry. For many years, he has advocated for the rights and interests of authors, performers and artists at the European level. As a policy advisor to several Members of the European Parliament since 2015, he has negotiated numerous EU legislation and political resolutions relevant to the music sector, including the EU's “Creative Europe” programme. From 2019 to 2024, he managed the Cultural Creators Friendship Group (CCFG), an informal cross-partisan coalition within the European Parliament comprising over 30 MEPs from six different political groups and 16 countries. Beyond his political activities, Benjamin is also a passionate songwriter and music producer.
