Alex Schwers has been the organiser of several punk rock festivals since the late 90s. He has been organising the RUHRPOTT RODEO since 2007, which is now the biggest punk festival in Germany with 10,000 visitors.
He is also the permanent drummer for SLIME and has played for bands such as Sondaschule, Wizo, Die Mimmis and many more over the years. Together with members of In Extremo, Eisbrecher and Dritte Wahl, he founded the band UNIVERSUM25 in 2022
Through his activities as an event organiser AND musician, he has a view of the industry from both sides.Alex lives with his wife and two children in Gladbeck in the Ruhr area.
