For the second time, re:publica will be a guest at our festival from 19-21 September in Hamburg. re:publica has established itself as a meeting point for the digital society, technologies, and culture. Since its founding in 2007, it provided a forum for discussions, talks, and workshops on internet freedom, data protection, digital innovation, and social media, with a diverse participant base including technology experts, activists, artists, and politicians.  
 
We would like to invite you to participate acitively and to contribute to the Call for Participation with your ideas and topics. The programme will shed light on current socio-political debates and bring topics such as technology design, digital infrastructures, net politics and net culture to the stage. It will also be about sustainability in all its dimensions, as well as alternative economic and labour models. We are looking for ideas from and for new and established media and will continue our discussion on AI and care. And, of course, ‘Tech & Music.’  
We also focus on Hamburg's development as a digital, economic, scientific and creative centre, as a place for social engagement and a hub for sustainable entrepreneurship, and as a place for sustainable urban design and activism.
