Christina began her professional career in copyright and media law as an in-house lawyer at a television station and spent several years in Salzburg working for the legal department of Red Bull Media House, most recently as Head of Legal for Red Bull TV. In 2016, she joined GEMA and now leads the audio licensing department for broadcasting and online. This department is a significant revenue stream for GEMA members and includes the licensing of various formats – from traditional radio to podcasts, audiobooks on demand, music NFTs, and national streaming and download platforms. Additionally, her department is responsible for developing corresponding tariff and licensing approaches, as well as for the use of the GEMA repertoire in AI applications.
