Stuzzi
The Copacabana is on the shores of Stockholm – at least, that is, if Stuzzi has his way. The DJ and multi-instrumentalist has been conquering the Swedish club scene since the release of his EP, “Le Fruit Disco” (2022), and has no interest in strict genre conventions. On the contrary: The always-cheerful guy with the cowboy hat playfully combines disco vibes from 1978 with Colombian cumbia sounds, funk with driving beats, and summer with a never-ending reason to celebrate life, the world, and music. After the release of “Le Fruit Disco II” (2023) last year, he scooped up nominations at the Swedish National Radio Awards and played to sold-out crowds. Eclecticism and catchiness form an unheard-of symbiosis in Stuzzi’s sound, while his unpredictable performances and a highly charming band on stage act as a reaction accelerator. It takes less than five minutes for the chemistry between the audience and the bustling jack-of-all-trades to reach fever pitch. And by then, the drinks are already cold.
