Their music is for outcasts and delinquents of all ages, for everyone who likes their food as spicy as their lives – that’s what SNAYX say about themselves. According to the trio from the UK, they have only been playing casual alternative rock with all kinds of punk styles for a few years now. Last year, their EP “Weaponized Youth: Part 1” (2023) emphatically demonstrated that SNAYX sound much more independent than they themselves claim – and that makes them likeable. Songs such as “Work” and “Sink Or Swim” sound damn modern on the one hand, but they also sound like crossover greats from the late nineties, which some people seem to think have gone extinct. These three musicians master this sound concoction without any hiccups and still have room for one or two unforeseen stylistic shifts. The whole thing is delivered with plenty of oomph and airtight grooves.
