Rowli has become a real hype beast with his cover versions of well-known classics via TikTok – and he has done so in less than a year. But the rapper and singer, bedroom producer, and street romantic is here to stay and has more to offer than just a hit or two in the German hip-hop landscape. This year alone, the equally talented and very young artist has proven with tracks such as “Sie sagt” and the brilliantly successful Spin Doctors cover “Weißt du” that he can shake catchy hooks and bars come out of his sleeve as easily as he can shake loose change out of his pocket. The numbers with his colleague Hank also testify to the level at which Rowli has been operating from the get-go, as recently seen in the video for “Eislaufen”. Before his first EP and perhaps even his first full studio album follow soon, the artist will first make his Reeperbahn debut on stage with us in September.
