Kapa Tult
There are probably enough reasons to blame all our problems on the status quo. Kapa Tult do just that in song form and without mincing words. From the climate crisis and the dilapidated education system to social media terror and the gender pay gap: The quartet take a swipe at everything. The four see it as a compliment that they come from the best tradition of past punk formations from German-speaking countries – and of course they do. Someone once compared them to The Doctors because songwriter Inga sings and plays guitar (and has blonde hair) while Angi beats the drums while standing up and bassist Paul plucks the strings oh so nicely. But then, there’s also keyboardist Robin and a mishmash of styles that the band describe as cactus pop. Kapa Tult like to get the crowd dancing. But they have nothing but love for their fans. And live, they also create a dance frenzy that pulls out all the stops.
