The application areas of stem separation are manifold. The audio tracks can be used for remixing and mastering, creating karaoke versions, sound design, film production, restoration or remastering. In the introductory phase, stem separation still led to results with a high loss of quality. In the meantime, more and more musicians and music producers are enjoying the possibilities and results.
