Arts & Word Submission 2025

Do you want to help shape our Arts Playground with your project idea or contribute to the Word programme? This year, you can once again submit your programme ideas via the form and become part of Reeperbahn Festival 2025.

In the Arts & Word programme, pop-cultural and socially relevant topics are explored creatively. We focus on issues such as intersectionality, feminism, social and ecological sustainability, and inclusion in all areas of communal life. We aim to give expression to diverse perspectives and offer artists the opportunity to exhibit visual art or present interactive modules and performances. This year, our main focus is on installations that shape the open-air area of our Arts Playground.

There are almost no limits for authors and spoken word protagonists in this submission. Whether it's a classic reading, stand-up, live podcast, or talk showwe have a stage for all these formats.

Please submit your proposals by 30 April and refer to the FAQ. After reviewing all submissions, we will inform you about the status of your application starting at the end of May.

Don't let the application form restrict you in terms of format or content; we want to keep our application process as simple as possible. The most important thing is to describe your idea in as much detail as possible.

We look forward to your ideas and contributions!

Booking gender balance
We are a partner of the Keychange initiative. Each year, we track the gender of our protagonists in the line-up because we want to determine the balance between FLINTA* and cis-male representation. So please let us know how many cis-men and how many FLINTA* people would be involved in presenting your work if this is already foreseeable.
